CDM PAPERWORK · CONSTRUCTION PERMITS

Project-specific CDM packs and permit templates for contractors.

Bring the core site paperwork together in one structured pack, with permits prepared around the work, location and information you supply.

BUILT AROUND THE PROJECT

One organised starting point for managing site paperwork.

SiteSide Support prepares draft CDM documentation for contractors using the project scope, site arrangements, trades, equipment and risks you identify. Packs can be prepared for a single project or tailored to suit a more complex programme of works.

We review the information first and provide a project quotation. The final content, number of permits and turnaround are confirmed before preparation begins.

TYPICAL CDM PACK

Practical documents for the site team.

The exact documents are agreed for each project; unnecessary templates are not added simply to make the pack larger.

Construction Phase Plan

A project-specific draft setting out management arrangements, responsibilities and key controls.

Project RAMS register

A structured record for the relevant risk assessments, method statements and reviews.

Site induction

A project-specific induction and attendance record for workers and visitors.

Emergency arrangements

Site contacts and draft arrangements for fire, first aid, evacuation and incident response.

Inspection records

Practical templates for daily checks, plant, access equipment, housekeeping and other agreed controls.

Briefing and sign-in records

Forms to record attendance, toolbox talks, briefings and workforce acknowledgement.

PERMIT PREPARATION

Clear authorisation and control for higher-risk activities.

Permit templates can be included in the CDM pack or requested separately where appropriate. Typical options include:

  • Hot works permit
  • Confined-space entry permit
  • Permit to work at height
  • Excavation permit
  • Electrical isolation permit
  • Roof-access permit
  • Lifting-operation permit
  • Other project-specific permit templates by agreement

Each permit must be completed, authorised, monitored and closed out on site by a competent person appointed by the contractor.

WHAT WE NEED

Send enough information to make the documents site specific.

  • Project address, description, dates and working hours
  • Client, principal contractor and key site contacts
  • Trades, work sequence, plant and access arrangements
  • Known hazards, surveys, drawings and existing-site information
  • Emergency, welfare, delivery and public-protection arrangements
  • The permits and inspection records you expect to use

COMPETENT REVIEW REQUIRED

Prepared for your team to review, approve and manage.

SiteSide Support provides document-preparation support and does not accept the client, principal designer, principal contractor or contractor duties created by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 unless a separate written appointment expressly says otherwise.

A competent person within the appointed contractor must check the pack against the real site and current work, make any necessary changes, approve it, brief the workforce and keep it under review. Permits do not make unsafe work safe and must never replace proper planning, isolation, supervision or emergency arrangements.

REQUEST A PROJECT QUOTATION
